Addressing a programme in the Capital, the UCPN-Maoist spokesperson, Agni Sapkota, claimed that the discussion held with Nepali Congress (NC) along with other prominent political parties is on the verge of conclusion.
However, he said that the alternative of resurrection of Constituent Assembly (CA) is also there if the parties agree for it.
“Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been holding talks with NC President Sushil Koirala and other leaders for the same. The discussions have been positive. There is possibility of agreement soon,” said Sapkota.
UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has held discussions with Koirala and NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula regarding the same.
It would be easier to hold election s if the remaining works of the constitution were solved by the CA, added Sapkota.
