Publication Date : 24-03-2014
Vietnam's Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (VietJet Air) will start a new international route – between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore – on May 23 to meet increasing travel demand.
The low-cost airline will fly seven round-trip flights with 2,520 seats per week on the new route, which is its second international air route— the first being the HCM City to Bangkok, Thailand route.
It is now operating more than 600 flights per week, on 23 domestic and international routes, with a fleet of 11 leased A320s. The airline plans to open more routes to several countries in the region, such as Taiwan (China), the Republic of Korea and Japan, this year.
