Thai army stops Yellow Shirts marching on Cambodian border
Publication Date : 29-01-2013
Thai soldiers have stopped hundreds of anti-government protestors from marching on the Cambodian border, police said.
The Yellow Shirts got within 200 metres of Border Post No 17 in Samrong yesterday before being blocked by hundreds of Thai soldiers in black uniforms.
Police said the Yellow Shirts had been protesting since Friday.
Border Post No 17 is located between Kun Kreal commune in Samrong district and Kok Ta Chhean commune in Thailand's Sorin Kap Choeung district.
