North Korea fires Rodong missiles

Firing is seen as a response to the trilateral summit talks among the US, South Korea and Japan
North Korea fired two ballistic missiles from a location north of Pyongyang toward the Sea of Japan on early Wednesday, according South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff officials.
The missiles are believed to be Rodong class medium-range ballistic missiles with the range of about 650 kilometres. The first one was launched at 2:35am with the second one 10 minutes later.
In The Hague, the leaders of Japan, South Korea and the United States started their summit talks at 2:40am with North Korean issues as top agenda. The Rodong firing is seen as a response to the trilateral summit talks.
