Indian spiritual guru in Kathmandu

Renowned Indian spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Sri Sri Ravi Shankar arrived in Nepal on Tuesday for a four-day trip.

He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital city of Kathmandu in the afternoon.

During his stay in Nepal, Guru Ravi Shanker is scheduled to various religious sites and deliver religious and spiritual discourses at different towns around the country.

He will also call on President Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, among other political leaders, according.

The Art of Living Foundation is a not-for-profit, educational and humanitarian NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) engaged in stress-management and service initiatives. The organisation operates globally in 152 countries. The organisation's programmes are guided by Shanker: “Unless we have a stress-free mind and a violence-free society, we cannot achieve world Peace.” The Art of Living has been offering stress-elimination programmes like meditation and yoga.
