Talks between Nepal's four major political parties and Chief Justice Khila Raj Regmi on the issue of the CJ potentially leading an election government is presently underway at Regmi's official residence in Baluwatar in Kathmandu.

The four major political parties have decided to meet Regmi and seek a definitive answer as to whether he is ready to lead an interim election government.

On Sunday, the chief justice had refused to meet with the leaders and had requested them to wait until Monday.
